And if the (actual) wrongs continue? How far left of the PC track do we turn for the progressively challenged?

There are enough wrongs to go around. Either they will be addressed and dealt with in a way that satisfies the majority, or they wont be and will continue.

But that doesn't change the fact that at some point both sides will have to let go of something. To stop playing the 'but it's a double standard' card and just say enough and move on.

It's being challenged in many ways... Subjects like Marijuana legalization, gay marriage, universal healthcare etc... are being addressed.

As for progressive change... We're in Oklahoma. We're staunchly conservative (read old skool) and enjoy being last to embrace change while others flock to it. It gives us a bad rep (she said you're only 16 you don't have a rep yet).

If letting go means giving up rights or beliefs, that is hardly a compromise to take.

by which metrics? Quality of life? Longevity? Overall happiness?

That's three of them. You can add delirium, naiveté, and delusion.:laugh6:

Seriously, the only metric that REALLY matters is the fact that we are still armed. We can throw off tyranny and despotism without foreign intervention. That makes ME happy, at least!
