I'm going to try to disregard EVERYTHING I've heard. But, it will be hard. Buy my Bauer.

Jimmy is interested in the Bauer but I think the weight and recoil has got him kinda skeered.

Yes, the awesome .25 is scary for some, especially the uneducated. With remedial training, this can often be overcome.

Joel, I hope you enjoy the Kimber. I won one in a raffle and sold it. I have a Kahr CW.380 and choose to keep carrying it. The Kahr is a little smaller, lighter, and no levers to catch a pocket. I have two Kimbers 1911's and really like them.

Thanks! Yes, in all seriousness, the Baby Kimber is a very nice gun. I tried really hard to like the Kahr line up, but I could never get used to that trigger. I think I was surprised, and pleasantly so, that the trigger on the Kimber was so good. I can appreciate the advantages of the Kahr CW380, but I just cannot shoot it worth a damn. Same thing with other small guns I have shot: the Kimber is the only one I can even come close to shooting well with.

Even though its not a Kimber, I got one of the new LCP-II, and really like this pistol. I hated the first ones with their horrible DOA trigger, but these new ones with their SA triggers are really nice, better sights, and you can actually hit something with them. Very accurate for being so small.

I'd have to be very convinced it was both durable and reliable. Looks pretty gimmicky at the moment.

I would like to give one a try and see...
