This is new. Went to a place where people shoot that's rough. Had to park my truck in the weeds to get out to 100 yards. Shot a few rounds and left.
Noticed my left front tire, on my truck, was down. My gauges always say I have a low front tire because Chevy pickups suck, so this was real.
Had to run to HD and noticed the tire was going down again and I saw something shiny and figured it was a nail. NOPE. It's a rifle casing.
It's a 30 cal and I didn't dare pull it out and nursed it back home. Will take a picture of it tomorrow.
Never had that happen before.
Karma maybe?

Goodyear tire in Denison, TX has a bowl on the counter of odd things they have pulled from flats. One is a live rifle round (don't remember the caliber). Said a lady drove on it for a couple days.

Friend owns a garage and tire shop, and he's talked about some of the stuff they've pulled out of tires but this is odd.
Perfectly straight in. Pavement has worn the stamp smooth with primer missing.
I'll take a pic before and after tomorrow.

I've seen first hand how using a handgun to shoot a tire can puncture one side of the tire and leave a dent in the wheel. Sure was odd pulling a bullet out of a tire

Weirdest thing we ever had was when my wife got a flat after she "ran over a beer can" in the '70s.

The beer can turned out to be a box turtle, and a piece of its shell was stuck in the tire. :D

The weirdest thing that ever gave me a flat tire was one of the two pins(see pic below) that holds a wrist watch onto the wrist band. How that ever got off someones watch and into my tire still has me scratchin' my head.
