Mr. GTG, You need to step back a minute. I'm pretty sure most of us are in agreement with you, but my only point is that we must not become like the snowflakes we bash everyday. Every post on every forum is read by someone that wants to use that in a way the OP didn't intend. The last thing we should be doing here is calling each other names.

Now, just to set the record straight, I actually have a bump stock. Haven't used it for a few years, don't even still have the rifle ( yes, black) anymore and never thought about mounting it on the replacement. I'll probably keep it and mount it on a plaque to hang in my office.

Because we don't restrict the rights of every American because of one evil dude. This is a fight worth fighting, whether you look down your nose at bumpstocks and the people that use them or not. Just like effete shotgunners who look down their noses at us, they will sell us out without hesitation. So I'm not posting in these threads to make friends. If you're (the forum, not you specifically) one of the 11 who voted yes, I'm ashamed of you and you're not an ally I want or need.

All you guys must have missed where I said I was against banning them but what I WANT to happen is different than what I THINK will happen. So in analyzing what I THINK will happen, I HOPE the damage is minimal...so for example, if they ban bump stocks instead of reinstate the assault weapons ban....got it fellas? There are a lot of people who are turncoating and I am not one of them...But if the reality is I have a choice A or B and not C, then I'm hoping the best scenario between choice A or B, doesn't mean I like it any.

Also, I think if corporations could have private armies/air forces they would...I could see physical wars between them such as Apple & Google, etc...those people are cut throat. I'm okay with cartels such as them not having F-15's LOL...But I have been meaning to watch the former TV series Jericho which has some similar scenario I guess?

If I misunderstood your post I apologize. I thought you were actually in support of banning them as "payment" so they wouldn't demand we give up more from this incident. As for myself, I'm for just telling them to pound sand. I'm likely in the minority from the sounds of our elected officials.

Actually their model is to intimidate you into submission, and if that doesn't work, violence. Shame is just a good old fashioned conservative value. But thanks for playing!

I'm just glad this guy didn't kill people by throwing cans of food from the hotel. I can't imagine how many people would starve to death if the stores took canned food off the shelves like they did with the stocks.

I think most of these things come down to lack of respect. People are fed up with everything and lashing out when they snap. Just yesterday, I held the door open for a 'woman' at a store. It stopped and said "I'll open my own damn door!"

No the stocks shouldn't be banned. Don't own one but they are fun. They're so inaccurate it probably saved lives.
Wasn't it against the law for this dude to kill people to begin with?
