I've had new bucks come thru this week. You never know what's going to swing by.
In fact, several of the big bucks I've shot over the years I never had on camera.

I’ve had 5 cellular cameras and two non-cellular cameras running since September and half of them have been running since July, and when checking one of the non-cellulars on Saturday, I discovered two bucks I had never seen on any other camera. They both showed up during the first week of November, and one only appeared to have hung around until the 8th. The last picture of the other one was on the 16th.

I much prefer the early season pattern to pre-rut and rut. I like to pattern and hunt “a” buck, and that only really works in early to mid October. After that, all bets are off.

34 doe/fawns, one sided spike and a six point from my perch morning. All deer travel was going down the same draw going the same direction so I know none of them were me counting duplicates..................................so where's all the big antlers at???????

On the way home, I saw three different small bucks bedded with does in wide open wheat fields, exhausted.............so where 's all the big antlers at?????? About to take some frustration out on some nannies here pretty quick.
Exactly, I can sit and watch deer all day but haven't seen anything over 100 inches

Sit down at 2:30 this afternoon, doe comes thru at 231, mouth open tail up looking behind her. Next deer I see is at 5pm, another doe doing the same as the first will a one antlered spike following. Ten minutes later the same, only a bigger spike. 5:20 a basket 8pt crossed the same trail that all three does used and looks both ways, proceeds on to the wheat field. Once I got out to where I could see the wheat field, there were 21 deer, all about the same color and size and heads down eating away. Duck hunting in the morning.
