Hunted yesterday and only had a small buck come into the feeder in the morning.

I walked over 2 miles busting brush trying to kick something up during lunch and saw absolutely nothing.

Around 4pm I had the triplet fawns come in without mom. 2 pigs skirted me right at dark and I bumped both a deer and a pig walking out. That concludes my hunting vacation this year. Back to weekend warrior mode just as things are heating up.

This guy was about to run a yearling into the ground opening day about 5pm, daughter missed a decent 8 this morning, he was just a little to far out for her skills. We reset the blind closer for her next attempt.

man i love mongo 8s. this guy showed up on cam last week (ignore date, i didn't set it) under my stand. at night so far unfortunately. he looks to have 9 off the beam (small G4 on the left) but i am digging these swordlike G2s

Neighbor shot the one I’ve been after all season. Part of it. Didn’t see much rutting activity the past 4 days in the NW part of the state. Got another 2 weeks off work. Gonna keep on keeping on!
