Neighbor shot the one I’ve been after all season. Part of it. Didn’t see much rutting activity the past 4 days in the NW part of the state. Got another 2 weeks off work. Gonna keep on keeping on! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lot of chasing going on last couple of days for me, and even some weekend before last, but only by little bucks. Big half rack I saw this morning didn't even acknowledge the does that he walked past.

Same thing happened to me. Neighbor got this guy this morning. The best buck I’ve ever had the chance to get. Oh well I guess. There’s a smaller one I’ll take if I can.

Nice Buck Dennis, what do you think he weighed? I took this guy saturday morning. Not the most impressive rack, but the heaviest deer I have ever had the pleasure of dragging. 178 pounds field dressed, that is a good Canadian Co. deer.
170lb field dressed. I've guess many deer before going on the scales over the years. Usually been within 5lb or so.
Nice buck you got! Congrats!

It does and it was a little harder to get out of bed this morning. But there’s still a decent buck out here. Had one come in before lst but couldn’t see how big the rack was.

I've had new bucks come thru this week. You never know what's going to swing by.
In fact, several of the big bucks I've shot over the years I never had on camera.
Other than the deer my son shot last year during ML, the last four we have taken had never been seen by us.

34 doe/fawns, one sided spike and a six point from my perch morning. All deer travel was going down the same draw going the same direction so I know none of them were me counting duplicates..................................so where's all the big antlers at???????

On the way home, I saw three different small bucks bedded with does in wide open wheat fields, exhausted.............so where 's all the big antlers at?????? About to take some frustration out on some nannies here pretty quick.
