Here, but occasionally There.
I'll say it again. While a vote for a third party candidate might be a satisfying "protest" vote, what will you end up with if doing that or not voting. Any protest vote for a Libertarian or Green Party candidate is nothing more than enabling one of the "major" parties to win the election. So, if you vote for "X" of the Libertarian or Green Party, will you be happy with an Elizabeth Warren, Kamela Harris, or any other "wacko" that is in those parties?

I have a relative that voted twice for Ross Perot. That relative has since expressed great regret for helping us get a womanizing president that also had questionable dealings with moneyed people, including the Chinese.

I'll add this: anyone voting for a candidate based on ONE ISSUE isn't voting responsibly.

You people should know by now you can't take what Trump says literally. It's all about bargaining and playing the game in order to get what you ultimately wanted.

Everybody likes someone that talks out of both sides of their mouth when you don’t believe anything they say while they bargain away your rights.

I also agree that a retailer, even an individual sales person, should be able to refuse to sell a firearm to someone that they think is dangerous, threatening, drunk, high, or for whatever reason the possibility of said person having a weapon raises goosebumps on your arms.
An FFL holder has the right to terminate a firearms transaction if at any point he/she feels uncomfortable about letting it continue.

The “binary choice” argument is bullshat. I didn’t vote for Trump and I have zero regrets. The sad part is that I’ve been defending him pretty much since the election, at least when he did something good. I was leaning toward possibly voting for him in 2020, but the last day or two have knocked that in the head.

If in the near future some anti 2A legislation is passed and Gorsuch is the deciding vote to kill it, I don’t know what the hell I’ll do in 2020.

What I do know is that no one is entitled to my vote.

A vote for a third party is not wasted. It makes it harder for anyone in a "major" party to win. Every vote cast for a third party cancels a vote for anyone else. Though the nationwide popular vote doesn't count toward electing a president, it makes a difference in each state in determining who gets however many electoral votes.

If no one wins at the Electoral College, I rather like the idea of Congress getting to choose whomever the president might be.

If Gorsuch is the deciding vote for Anti 2A legislation and votes against it, you will have a lot of company. The alternative, however, was another Ginsberg, Sotomayor, or Kagan if Hillary had been elected - the 2A would have been toast. Trump is not my first choice but was definitely better than the alternative.
