The governor must sign or veto legislation within 5 days after transmittal (excluding Sunday), or it becomes law without his/her signature. If transmittal occurs with less than 5 days left in the session, the governor must act within 15 days of the date of session adjournment, or the legislation is pocket vetoed.

So if there is 5 days or more left in the session then it will become law if she does not sign it. However if there are 4 or less days she has until day 15 to sign or it is vetoed.

So unless they adjourn early she has to veto it or it will become law after 5 days excluding Sunday. So the clock is ticking as of today as I understand it as it was sent to the Gov's office today.

Don't know much about governing, but I'm guessin' there are several issues needing her input at any given time.

I agree with you 100%.
The question is if she is looking at a higher office to continue her quest for power, like the US Senate.
In the current political climate among politicians, to be a Republican with any chance to succeed you must be aligned with pro gun issues.
Other than one hissy fit, she has actually done fairly well on gun issues.
