I think this post is just a ruse. He secretly wants to go but is scared of getting caught.
It's really sad when we find ourselves in such a situation, but, it could be worse. Like the time I was in a car with my wife, our teenage daughter, and my mother in law. My wife said, "We're just gonna stop here at the mall real quick". I have had few days to rival the utter misery of the remainder of that day; the abject hopelessness; the suffering; the financial loss...the abuse.
Were you driving!! If so you missed your chance to sleep on the couch and not go to the stinking mall!!
The mall is easy. I just find a parkbench, plug my ear buds into my phone, crank up the tunes and watch the people. Especially the milfs.

Man, we have a lot of "guys" that are pawns. My wife goes every year, twice a year. Once in OKC and once in Tulsa.
For me, it's a hell no. Its hunting season, Why INTF would I want to go to some craft show with you? So she takes her friend and they spend the night as it takes two days to get through according to them. I actually know it's just a girls weekend out for them and I don't care.
She doesn't complain when I go elk hunting for a week and other out of town hunts that require an overnight stay.
She won't go to a mall with me in tow. Says she can't shop right with the grumbling going on in the background, so I go to the mall bar and get lit up which makes her mad because then she has to drive.
There is a method to my madness.......
