No. My wife was driving. I was relegated to a back seat so my mother in law could be "comfortable". Never mind that I was jammed in back there with my knees up under my chin. In my own car. With purses back there so I couldn't even lie down and take a nap.
The mall is easy. I just find a parkbench, plug my ear buds into my phone, crank up the tunes and watch the people. Especially the milfs.
As would I have done, had I not been designated as Watcher of the Purses.

I didn’t join the Marine Corps to drive vehicles. Besides, my wife told me what car to buy. She also directs the majority of the spending in this household. The way she explained that to me was that it was one less thing I have to worry about. Now ain’t that a good wife?
