Years ago I read a book about a Muslim extremist who was caught by the British MI6 and was turned to be a double agent deep inside the radical Islamic mosques in Britain and France. The most telling and prophetic statement I remember was that he stated that Muslims will change Britain and France using their own laws against them to further radical Islamism. It's turned out to be true in Europe and is slowing creeping into America via the liberal agenda and our "progressive" politics.

An attempt by Muslims to establish sharia law anywhere in the United States would be a violation of the First Amendment. Under the Constitution, the First Added Article to it(the First Amendment) prohibits government - any government - from establishing a state run religion. Sharia law demands no less than what is a state run religion. The Constitution for the United States of America, and any constitutional law under it, when properly abided and applied, cannot be used to violate the Constitution itself. There is nothing to prevent We the People from abolishing sharia law in the United States and the abhorrent faith it supports. Yes, I am opposed to Islam and its attendant sharia law. I abide the Constitution.

If any Muslim is offended by the foregoing, do not demand nor expect an apology from me. If you are willing to disregard sharia law and abide the Constitution and the laws established under it, I welcome you here and to worship as you wish. If not, there are somewhere around fifty other countries where you can live that will welcome you with open arms - if you are willing to fit in with their particular sect.

So as Americans we must accept a religion that believes in genital mutilation, a religion that finds it proper to have sex with underage boys, a religion that accepts the killing of homosexuals, a religion that believes the killing of "unbelievers" is not only acceptable but a duty and a religion that issues death sentences to anyone that slander their prophet (who married a nine year old girl) into our country with open arms and accept their practices as "civilized"?

Did I cover everything?
YOU missed the FACT that Islam is NOT a religion, it is a CULT! Calling it a religion legitimizes the cult.

And at some point, it's likely that those that are "welcomed here" will no longer abide by the Constitution, and you'll be living under a different form of government. It's the same losing argument people use for "welcoming" those from south of our border. "As long as they love freedom and the Constitution". It's a losing proposition, if you're a Conservative.

The Constitution really is just a piece of paper; its power is in the hearts and minds of the People. The government does unconstitutional things with alarming regularity; if the People want it to happen, it will happen, by hook or by crook.

The Constitution, once established and ordained as ours is, became more than just a piece of paper. It is our government.

Johnson's Dictionary of the English Language(1755), the only such dictionary of its kind in existence at the time the Constitution was written and established and ordained, defines a constitution (at #6) as an 'established form of government; system of laws and customs.' The powers in it are written down and it is the abidance of the Constitution that is in the hearts and minds of the people.

The people chosen to run the government doing unconstitutional things is not government as established and ordained under the Constitution but rather comprises a dictatorship acting outside the powers granted by the people and a violation of the oath taken to support the Constitution.

If the People want it to happen, and it isn't in the Constitution, the Constitution can be amended as described within it self at Article V, to allow or make it happen. By hook or crook - meaning there is no way under the Constitution - comes under the heading of dictatorship.

If you wish to consider the foregoing as just my opinions, you must also consider the Constitution as just the opinions of the Founding Fathers, and we have no established government beyond the whims of dictators. All this said, as it stands in this country, you are correct. The Constitution is largely ignored and has been degraded to just a piece of paper.

If the ends sought cannot be achieved through the means granted to the Federal Government in the Constitution, there is neither a need nor the power for the Federal Government to get involved. B.E.Wood

I think we may be talking past each other. I meant to say that the Constitution is not self-executing; it requires the constant vigilance and active support of the People, both private and .gov employees. Without that vigilance, without the desire to follow it, it will fall. Without constant care and attention, we'll watch our rights be eroded, sometimes in small steps, sometimes in big ones, but they'll go away.

We're already seeing this, it just seems to be accelerating.

It IS accelerating. The left is in a panic and it is time for them to fish or cut bait. They have reached the point in their progress where people are becoming aware of what is happening, that we are beyond light and transient causes, that the usurpation of our states' reserved powers, that suffering the loss of our freedoms, and the infringements on our rights is no longer that which is tolerable.

I fear that a revolt is immanent and our government needs to repair itself soon so that a revolt never does become necessary.Trying to disarm us will only guarantee a revolt. Disarmed people never fare well under any form of government.

With regard to the above in bold, Sharia law may not necessarily be regarded as a "religion." Granted, we know it to be a "law" specifically aimed towards Muslims, but would our nations court system, with all its liberal judges, not be capable of declaring Sharia to not be a religion but simply a form of "law" which could reside within our own legal system? After all, I don't know if Sharia deals with worshiping a god.

And, I dang sure don't trust liberal judges.

The Constitution is no longer supported in its entirety across our nation. Otherwise, states wouldn't be blatantly ignoring the 2nd Amendment.

"Shall not be infringed" is just a memory.

HISTORY LESSON: STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES!!!

You can ask any person, between the ages of 18 and 25, if they have ever heard of the Nuremburg Trials. It is possible that one person out of thirteen will say they have heard of the Trials.

However, even that one will not be able to tell you what (not who) was on trial. Those same people will not be able to tell you the name of the current Vice President.

Eighty four percent of those who receive this email will not completely read it..if they read any of it at all.

Ten percent will read it, but they will choose not to forward it on to others.

The remaining 6% most likely will forward it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The war started in the 7th Century and lasted through the 17th Century. Many will contend it never stopped; the facts below are historically correct.
That is why many of us choke when we hear someone say we will defeat or contain these Islamic terrorists in a few years,
or even "30 years" as has been stated by Leon Panetta.
If the latest batch of murders, beheadings, and killing of innocent Christians has at all shocked you, it is time for you to read this compilation of historical facts about the intense hatred that Muslims have for any and all who are not Muslims.
WE ARE THE STUPID
In 732 A.D., the Muslim Army, which was moving on Paris, was defeated and turned back at Tours, France, by Charles Martell.
In 1571 A.D., the Muslim Army/Navy was defeated by the Italians and Austrians as they tried to cross the Mediterranean to attack southern Europe in the Battle of Lepanto.
In 1683 AD., the Turkish Muslim Army, attacking Eastern Europe, was finally defeated in the Battle of Vienna by German and Polish Christian armies.
This nonsense has been going on for 1,400 years! The sad thing is that more than half of all politicians do not even know any of this.
If these battles had not been won, we would most likely be speaking Arabic. And Christianity could be non-existent. Judaism certainly would not exist!
Reality check:
A lot of Americans have become so insulated from reality that they imagine America can suffer defeat without any inconvenience to themselves.
Think back:
The following events are true historical facts. It has been many years since 1968, but history keeps repeating itself.
1. In 1968, Robert Kennedy was shot and killed by a Muslim male.
2. In 1972, at the Munich Olympics, Israeli athletes were kidnapped and massacred by Muslim males.
3. In 1972, a Pan Am 747 was hijacked and eventually diverted to Cairo where a fuse was lit on final approach.
Shortly after landing, it was blown up by Muslim males.
4. In 1973, a Pan Am 707 was destroyed in Rome – with 33 people killed – when it was attacked with grenades by Muslim males.
5. In 1979, the United States Embassy in Iran was taken over by Muslim males.
6. During the 1980s, a number of Americans were kidnapped in Lebanon by Muslim males.
7. In 1983, the United States Marine barracks in Beirut was blown up by Muslim males.
8. In 1985, the cruise ship Achille Lauro was hijacked, and a 70-year-old American passenger was murdered and thrown overboard in his wheelchair by Muslim males.
9. In 1985, TWA Flight 847 was hijacked at Athens, and a United States Navy diver – who was trying to rescue passengers – was murdered by Muslim males.
10. In 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 was bombed by Muslim males.
11. In 1993, the World Trade Center was bombed for the first time by Muslim males.
12. In 1998, the United States embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed by Muslim males.
13. On 09/11/01, four airliners were hijacked. Two of the planes were used as missiles to take down the World Trade Centers. One plane crashed into the United States Pentagon, and the other plane was diverted and crashed by the passengers. Thousands of people were killed by Muslim males.
14. In 2002, the United States fought a war in Afghanistan against Muslim males.
15. In 2002, reporter Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and beheaded by – you guessed it – a Muslim male. (Plus two other American journalists who had just recently been beheaded.)
16. In 2013, the Boston Marathon bombing resulted in four innocent people, including a child, being killed and 264 other people injured by Muslim males.
No, I really do not see a pattern here to justify profiling. Do you?
So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone – particularly fanatics intent on killing us – airport security screeners will no long be allowed to profile certain people.
So, ask yourself: "Just how stupid are we?!?!"
Have Americans completely lost their minds or just their "power of reason?"
As the writer of the award winning story "Forrest Gump" so aptly put it, "Stupid is as stupid does."
As Barack Obama said in his book: "Nothing sounds as beautiful as the Muslim evening prayers from the tower."
Wake up America!
Yeah right, another harmless religion.
Not to mention the Air France flight #139 hijacking in 1976. Muslim males assisted in that, although two of the terrorists were Germans.
Pulse nightclub, the Bataclan incident in Paris, the Nice truck killings, the bombings in Belgium, the Charlie Hebdo affair, all done by Muslim males. Profiling is bad because we don't want to look like we're picking on certain ethnic groups.
Yeah, right.
El Al profiles and they are probably the world's most secure airline, with their last hijacking in, IIRC, 1968. Also El Al has armed security officers on many of their flights, and that helps too.
