Also, I didn't see any 4227 in 8 lb caddys.
I did get an 8lb of Shooter's World Buffalo Rifle, which is 5744. I paid $150.
Powder Valley price is ~ $160, plus Frt & Hazmat.

Powder Valley was not there. I have not seen them there in years.

I asked them a few shows ago if they still did the "buy it online and pick it up at the show" thing - nope. Said they didn't do that anymore.

Really enjoyed the show today. Took my own water & snack. Saw a few people I know and met a few I didn't know before today. I always enjoy browsing the antiques. Bought a belt but nothing gun related.

Said hello to Buck Taylor again. Reckon no one at the show hears more stories than he does.

Looked for but didn't find a bargain on a Colt Peacemaker 22/22wmr. Found one new in box, but want a shooter, not a looker.

Pretty good day.

I was planning on taking my son, but I caught some crud that had me coughing all weekend. It has now made its way through 3/4 of the family. He was a little bummed out but my wallet is still in good shape. ;)

Even if they were caught giving Obama and the Clinton's full body massages with happy endings, while taking a dump on a MAGA hat, if somebody still wanted to get a Benchmade, they can.

I'm the type that if you tell me it's on a "do not buy" list, I'll get it just because.
Just like I bought a new 940-2 only 3 days after that whole debacle came to light and OSA went bonkers.
Funny, that's why i bought so many "assault weapons" during the AWB ban.

So, did Benchmade make the show?

I saw several knife makers but didn't see them. Did they discount the knifes? I heard after the uproar they had dropped prices and were having a fire sale on knifes.

They were giving good deals but not as good as the prices last November.I wouldn't call it a fire sale but 30 or 40 dollars off a 160 dollar knife was pretty normal.Last fall I bought 2 of the bugouts with a black blade for 90 dollars a piece.Sportsworld in Tulsa and Murfs here in Duncan gets around 125 for the same knife.
