And Aleve made no difference but it was the shelf stuff. I'll ask my surgeon for Tylox, I had good results with it 2 other times and didn't cause any withdrawl when I was done with it. Morphine, not so much.

Man, some of y'all can't win for losing when it comes to your health. Get better. No judgement from me on the MJ, much better than narcotics.

I had a tibular plateau fracture of my left knee back in 97 under workman's comp. Sat around for about 3 days with a broken leg before having surgery. Then in a cast for 3 months.
I was off work for a year (thanks to bureaucratic nonsense). Couldn't get my lawyer, the docs, and the insurance company to talk together. One of the most frustrating times of my life.
The first doc did a good job of reconstruction but didn't know jack about rehab. Had 3 or 4 other surgeries from another doc.
Ended up with a judgement of 30% disability in my left knee. Workman's comp has a schedule; 30% disability in a knee is worth X $; no arguing about it, that's what you get, which wasn't all that much.
And my lawyer was a douche.

I hope your road is easier traveled than mine.

Yikes!
Tibular plateau fracture is what I have also!
Lost wages are my main concern because I exhausted all my leave with the last surgery (600 ish hours).

Sorry to hear of your injury and I hope your employer stands up to their part. Housekeeping personnel should have their comeuppance.
