I'm not sure about this one. I read somewhere that "supposedly" that money was actually Iran's money to start with that had been kept from them for years and that the agreement nullified that sanction.

Yes, the cash sent to Iran was money that had been held due to sanctions for several decades, I believe. Something to do with the PanAm bombing? Or Lockerbie, or something? Of course, flying it into Iran as pallets of cash in the middle of the night is a bit... odd. To say the least.
