I’m here in a cabin right now. Some tree are juuuust starting to turn. You’re probably around 2-4 weeks out still (unless we get some dry and cold weather real soon).

It’s been warm so not much action at all this year so far.
Awesome, thanks. I booked a cabin for the 14th because that was the only weekend that wasn't already booked. I always think to do these things a month out and one should do it a few months out I guess.

Later is probably better than earlier. I’m down by Beavers Bend and it’s as green as can be. I bet you’ll be right at the right time as I think this year will late given how warm the fall has been. It’s been dry in SEOK which can accelerate things but with the rains this week I think it will hold out a bit longer.

Also we’ve done cabins through a couple different property leasing agencies. Never had a problem with any so I can’t recommend one over another. Always been smooth dealings.

The most reliable indicator here is photoperiodism. The trees can suffer distress from drought, pestilence, or cold weather. STILL, leaves change colors and fall most reliably due to the change of light. Trees get bossed around by the sun and leaves fall as a result.

NOW, having impressed you with my superior knowledge of trees, I'll elevate my snoot, take my LEAVE from this thread, and go hug one.
