Agree^^^^ Boycotts only hurt the good employees. I don't buy Starbucks, not because of a boycott, but because I don't like their coffee, especially at their prices. Convenience store coffee is good enough for me, or even better, senior coffee price at McDonalds.

Instead, I will always pay for the LEOs getting coffee at one of these places.

While it’s tempting to jump on the bandwagon, Starbucks operates something like 15k locations and employs close to 200k people....a few dipsh%ts doesn’t justify a boycott. Just like a few bad cops doesn’t mean we should ditch all police departments., even when you consider the implications of a bad cop far outweigh someone getting their feelings hurt by a coffee shop employee.
I ditched starbucks for two reasons. Their coffee is nasty/overpriced and their CEO trashes President Trump on a regular basis.
The very person that has brought the economy around which allows more people that want to think they are trendy and cool for having a starbucks cup in their hand the money to buy it.
Talk about biting the hand that feeds you! What an ignorant fool.

Another boycott by myself and a huge part of the RV Community I'm part of is the CEO of Camping World. He has publicly stated that if you like Trump he does not need your business. With RV'ing increasing because the economy is allowing more folks to get into it, why would he jeopardize his companies profit line?
CW stock prices dropped after his statement but have risen since, but what would they have looked like before that ignorant business move comment?
It has to be the business interest other than the RV side because his name is toxic around every place we visit and it comes up often. Camping World owns a whole lot of other entities.

I totally get not doing business with Starbucks because one doesn't like the coffee. I don't get stuff there often but my girls do and I will get something occasionally. The store close to me is staffed by polite and professional folks, including one of my kids' school teachers who works there to supplement her income.

Starbucks is far from a trend. It's been around, in some form, for almost 50 years and a large portion of it's expansion came in the 90's and early 2000's. The guy who built it into what it is today is the classic American rags to riches success story and he, by most accounts, treats his employees well, personal politics aside. Seeking to intentionally damage an American company that employs hundreds of thousands Americans because a couple of cops had their feelings hurt or because the founder and former CEO doesn't like your favorite politician is snowflake level 1,000.

It's the same "cancel culture" tactics that the left uses, like when the left called for a boycott of Chick-fil-a because of the opinions of it's founder.

If Starbucks CEO is such a wonderful person to his employees, maybe he should keep his mouth shut to take care of them. Every time he sees a microphone he’s trashing the president.
So I have the same right to trash him and his business.
