For the whole of the USA, yes. That is still in play, listen you don't get it, but this won't PEAK until early to MID MAY, 5-6 more weeks minimum, social distancing isn't going to kick in and its effect for another 3, peak cases are still going to wipe the floor with our medical system.
It's you that doesn't get it. You came on here a month ago and started the gloom and doom stating that hundreds of thousands would be dead or infected by this time. Nothing of the sort has happened, yet you keep moving the goalpost further down the calendar.

Except that China has 1.4 B people; the US has 350 M people. Although, I don't really believe the numbers coming out of China.
Don't believe their numbers. They quit testing, and some of their test kits were defective. Some sent to other countries are defective as well.

The world has taken heart from news that China has "flattened the curve" reflecting few to no new cases of COVID-19.

China's good news was reported by The New York Times Thursday, which trumpeted, "China Hits a Coronavirus Milestone: No New Local Infection."

The Washington Post reported, "China reports zero new local coronavirus infections."

NBC News reported China's National Health Commission's report about there being no new COVID-19 cases from inside the massive country:

"China’s National Health Commission on Friday reported no new local coronavirus cases, which marked the second time it has done so since the epidemic began.

There were 39 new cases reported on the mainland Thursday, but all were called “new imported confirmed cases.” Deaths on the mainland rose by three, bringing the total dead to 3,248, according to the health commission’s numbers.

There have been 80,967 cases reported on the mainland in all, the national health commission said."

But a report out of Japan by Apple Daily HK says that rosy view from China is a lie.

"Report by @appledaily_hk , Japanese news outlet interviewed Wuhan doctors, and confirmed Wuhan has stopped testing, that is why new case = 0 there. They release people in quarantine early too."

The majority of rapid test coronavirus test kits supplied by China to Spain and the Czech Republic are faulty, local news outlets reported.

Up to 80 percent of the 150,000 portable, quick coronavirus test kits China delivered to the Czech Republic earlier this month were faulty, according to local Czech news site Expats.cz. The tests can produce a result in 10 or 15 minutes but are usually less accurate than other tests. Because of the high error rate, the country will continue to rely on conventional laboratory tests, of which they perform about 900 a day.

Chinese Lawyers Sue America on Conspiracy Theory Virus Came from U.S.
JOHN HAYWARD 27 Mar 2020

Wuhan lawyer Liang Xuguang filed one lawsuit with the Wuhan Intermediate People’s Court against the U.S. Government, CDC, the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Armed Forces Sports Council claiming damages of 200,000 yuan (around U.S.$28,000).

The lawsuit alleges that the defendants were responsible for lost wages and emotional harm because they “covered up” the alleged emergence of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 on U.S. soil.

Being able to do something and EGO are completely different hombre, I would argue people doing the job for money are the egotistical ones, because they can't even get it together, people in positions of power like Sheriff's around here are as backwards as they come, don't even believe in that fancy word science.

A guy with a vivid imagination. Still waiting on pics of those guns you said you have. Personally, I call BS on everything you say. Are you sure you’re not a CNN “reporter”.

Maybe a cure already.

"In 80 in-patients receiving a combination of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, the team found a clinical improvement in all but one 86 year-old patient who died, and one 74-year old patient still in intensive care unit."

Dr. Fauci doesn't buy it, I am gonna go with Fauci on this one. Throwing the kitchen sink at it in anti-malaria medication is just a last ditch effort.
