Since the daily White House briefings are the "official" broadcast of knowledge of what is going on with this virus and how it is affecting our country and what we are doing about it, kinda like the emergency alert we get from the weather service during extreme emergency bad weather. Should he instruct the FCC pull the licenses of stations that do not broadcast his daily briefing alerts? PBS we pay for comes to mind first. This is kinda an emergency, ya know?

Guess that would be like Trump ordering the NYT newspaper to halt production and use their paper stock to produce toilet paper, it would just not have the printing ink costs. Win win for all. JMO

When the President finally shakes himself awake, it really should be news. He has finally given his constituents permission to read the cards that were laying face-up on the table months ago. From ''today we have six cases and next week it'll be down to zero" to "we'll have 100,000 to 240,000 deaths." He's catching up, and that's news.

And it simply isn't true that nobody is seeing these news conferences. They're getting ratings that nobody would even believe. The ratings are beautiful. Beautiful, beautiful ratings. Better ratings than The Bachelor they're getting. Super Bowl-type ratings. He's keeping CNN in business with the ratings he's getting them.

Brett Crozier sent an extraordinary four-page letter asking for Navy help. His warship has no space to give infected patients a separate berthing space and bathroom, so he asked for assistance finding rooms ashore.

“The spread of the disease is ongoing and accelerating,” Crozier wrote in the March 30 letter, which was obtained by the San Francisco Chronicle. “Decisive action is required.”

It’s true. Almost everyone I know is like that. They cannot stand to hear something that doesn’t paint him in a negative light. If you even make a statement that isn’t overtly negative about trump, the whole conversation will change.
