So, my son Cade just checked the mail and this arrived today. Accepted to The Oklahoma State University!! Super proud of him. He is now 2/2 with acceptance to his top two schools. He was so happy!! I wonder if we need to keep going with applications? He wants to have a decision made by Christmas. It's going to get interesting around here.

He is sort of undecided but he is up in the air for Buisness, Engineering and possibly something in the sciences. He has talked a bit about getting into Petroleum Engineering at which point he'll apply to Texas A&M which is third on his list of schools and Univ of Wyoming. He sounds funny but he really like the new business building at OSU. He is real good at math but has a knack for engineering and science.

So proud and happy, Dennis. I was no where near the student nor did I have the grades he has. His other school is Montana State University. He has no desire to attend the traditional colleges and universities his peer apply to nor does he have any desire to go to the Ivy League, etc. In high school he is one of the few that are the known and proud to support Trump and huge supporter of the 2A. Luckily for him there isn't a single other kid at school that will phuck with him because of his size and reputation.

Yeah, he is a big young man. Don't know many that would mess with him face to face. That's a good base to start with when someone wants to confront your political beliefs.
It appears his head is screwed on correctly. Good parenting does that. You and the wife as parents should feel proud.

My daughter just started this fall at that Spears school of business at OSU.
Her other choice was going to be Walton school of business at UA in Fayetteville.

Congrats on the 2/2 acceptance. Just make sure that he gets a degree in a field that is hiring and has a future. Nothing wrong with getting your hands dirty. Currently yellow iron field mechanics can make six figure incomes if they're not lazy.

DO NOT LET HIM GO TO TEXAS A&M!!!!! The “indoctrination” process there turns generally good kids into “know it all” a$$holes in short order, and no matter how much time passes, they never regain their normal behavior. My family has to deal with my Father in Law and my oldest son who graduated from there, and it’s sometimes tough at family gatherings to fit both their inflated heads in the same room.
