Agreed. All I got when I went was a talking to about getting the vaccine later, a prescription for Tylenol, a pulseox, and a volumetric exerciser. You were extremely lucky to find an ER that handled you that way. Most do not treat Covid until you have to be hospitalized then they vent you and kill your kidneys and liver with Remdesivir.
Glad your brother didn't treat you i the woods also.
I feel for you. I speak from experience when I tell you that when you think you are over it and well, you are NOT! I had 9 days of fever and exhaustion when I had it. Temperature broke on a Tuesday and I immediately started feeling better. By that weekend, I couldn’t tell that I had been sick so I went to work on a deer blind. Big mistake. I’m lucky that when I ”whited out,” I didn’t fall off the ladder. I ended up sleeping half that Saturday in my cabin instead of working. It really took me at least another 5 days after that before I could exert myself without feeling like I was going to pass out.Awesome buck! Wish I felt like hunting during my quarantine, just the thought of trying to drag a deer 20 feet even wears me out!
That's what I'm afraid is coming my way! I started symptoms last weekend, I helped a guy cape/skin/quarter a buck Monday morning and that wore me out so bad I slept 4 hours after he left! The exhaustion is still bad today.I feel for you. I speak from experience when I tell you that when you think you are over it and well, you are NOT!
