There was a walk-in at Wanenmacher probably 15 years ago who had an odd-looking Mosin Nagant rifle. He walked the entire lower floor and part of the upper before someone stopped him to look at the rifle. That fellow who asked to look at it was an expert on MN’s, and he recognized the rifle as a very rare variant. He bought it for a couple hundred bucks, and a few hours later, sold it for something like $4500. It was the talk of the Gunboards forum for a while!
Which variant?

Never sold anything at a show before. Thinking about bringing 3 or 4 pistols to sell if I go. Do you need to have them zip tied hammer, trigger, or slide before you enter or someone said they check at the door to verify unloaded and then zip tie? Or just verified unloaded is enough? Figured I would put them in a backpack with a For Sale sign attached to the back of it and then just cruise the isles.

You’ll be required to give each firearm - unloaded! - to a deputy sitting at one of several tables near the entrance, and they’ll inspect the firearms and then use their own zip ties. The line for that can be very long early in the morning, so be prepared to wait a while. Usually an expo worker will walk up and down the lines offering tickets for sale so you won’t have to wait at the ticket window as well. Wear shoes for walking, and enjoy the show!

So they can take it in and flip it at there table for some quick cash. When I see them coming towards me I raise the price about 40% and they leave me alone.

You run the risk of lugging your heavy firearms around the show the entire time you’re there. Gotta think of the trade-offs, you know :D

Oh, and if you find a buyer make sure they are an Oklahoma resident, or an FFL dealer.
