Another great example of this by we should buy as much as we can afford when able to always have a surplus. .50/rd isn’t terrible but ina semi-auto weapon, a guy can go through some rounds. 5.56 got to buy in bulk, when cheaper

Ammo prices are falling fast. Demand is dropping and prices for utilities/rent/food are all getting higher. We'll see pre-pandemic prices by May. That will be the time to fill your strategic reserve. I don't expect all calibers to drop in price, but I think the most popular ones (9mm/5.56/.308/.22/.45 acp/6.5 CM) will be much cheaper. Probably a few others too, but I don't think you'll see cheap 25-06/220 swift/35 Rem/45-70.

I like the way you think. If I had seen that and wanted or needed it, I'd have found a manager and said I'll give 400 otd and either bought or left.

They will come down some sure. But 2016-19 prices have gone the way of the $80 SKS lol
