Meh, I'm going the other direction with the fullness of my safe. It's becoming more and more empty as I sell or trade off safe queens and put the money to better use.

Smart man. I've got a number of things to sell if it ever comes to that. I figure guns don't typically go down in value ad long as you don't buy during some sort of scare.

Maybe I'll fill one up before I'm 50. Don't have near the collection as some of y'all high rollers. Keep hoping I'll win the powerball jackpot so I can buy the 300 guns I wish I had. Lol

For the math guys. Here's the formula for how many guns you should have...X + 1 = total number. With that said. You simply have to turn in your man card if you have a safe that is not full. Just sayn.

Or... X (the number of guns you have) - Y (the guns you don't shoot often, therefore you're not proficient with) = the numberof guns you should have. Jack of all trades but master of none theory.
Man cards go to those who can dominate with the gun(s) they have, not to the ones who use their guns to collect dust and brag about.

When I first bought my house, I turned the home office adjacent to the master bedroom into a walk-in closet and the existing master closet (6'x10')into a room with reinforced concrete wall and safe door with biometric entry, fire sprinkler and some other clever sercurity options. All of which are hidden behind a Murphy door.( all of works done by your turely! In case you can't tell, I was proud of myself)
Now, two years later. With all of initial passion worn off, all I am left with is the room with unfinished interior walls and mostly bare shelves.
So, moral of the story is: don't get too carried away! It took a lot to fill a large gunsafe.( time and money)

Who invited Mr. Serious? ^

No doubt.... "those who can dominate"? WTF is this, Call of Duty? Get real, dude. I've got tons of guns I seldom shoot and many I have NEVER shot. They're still an investment, they're still mine, and seriously, how hard is it to be "proficient with" a number of ARs or 12g when you are already accurate with one? I've got a dozen ARs, half of which I haven't shot because I built them for fun, a half-dozen 12g, same story, collected because they were good deals and I wanted them, etc. Who are you to look down on me because I am building a collection just because I'm not out doing 1000-yard tack-driving every weekend and swapping guns each time? Some of us have jobs and work our asses off to support our families.

Get over yourself and your effing "man card". I bet you dual-wield at the range, too...
