He did tell the truth, and he has sent help. What else would a President be expected to do?
Dimocrats politicize everything without presenting the truth. That's the difference.
I still haven't seen the tweet your bringing up?

There’s a time to tell the truth and a time to shut your pie hole for a couple days and help. Trump just can’t help but run his mouth and politicize a crisis, just like the Dems do with gun control.

Help first, and don’t take credit for helping. Then, when the crisis is over, say “let’s sit down and talk about why this happened and make sure it doesn’t happen again”. That’s what leaders do.
They have been taking criticism for years on it. They've been being warned that this would happen. Yet they've not been interested in listening yet, at least not enough to do anything different. To some extent it's their own fault. A property owner out there can't take fire prevention measures for breaking some stupid law.

Sometimes it takes a slap upside the head to get it to sink in. They've been slapped. And Trump can't tell them that they've been slapped. Unbelievable...

Pink’s husband issued a stern warning on social media to those who think they are going to be able to loot houses that have been damaged by the devastating wildfire in Southern California.

Carey Hart, the 43-year-old former motocross racer, posted a photo to Instagram on Tuesday showing a group of people armed with rifles and their face covered in masks. The group is posing behind a wood sign that reads: “Looters will be shot on site!”

“It’s unfortunate that some people take advantage of others in a crisis,” Hart wrote in the caption. “While the malibu fires have been burning, some locals have been fighting off and defending their property against the fires. There have been sightings of looters breaking in to homes. Well, if you are a looter, think twice if you are heading back into malibu.”

The Woolsey Fire, which has affected many homes in the mountains of Southern California as well as the homes of famous celebrities, has caused police to be on the lookout for looters.

About 200 police officers have been on patrol for “looting suppression” in the areas near Malibu and Topanga Canyon, according to USA Today. At least two people have been arrested on suspicion of looting, according to Ventura County Sheriff’s Sgt. Eric Buschow.

“If you come here with the intent of taking advantage of this situation, we will arrest you and you will go to jail,” Buschow said Monday.

Pink and Hart were forced to evacuate from their beachside property in Malibu and made it out safely, according to TMZ.

Call me heartless,,,
But I really don't care about Pink or the Kardashians or any celebrities.

They won't miss one meal or endure one whit of hardship,,,
All they will lose is replaceable possessions.

It's the people in Paradise that I care about,,,
Paradise has long been an old retirement community,,,
Many of the people who are burned out have no other resources.

I lived there for 15 years,,,
I can't help but feel for the refugees.

The government officials in California are lucky they have a couple of deep pockets in the form of electric companies to deflect towards.

Some drone footage of the devastation in Paradise. For those just joining it was a town of some 30,000 residents.
