It's been a rough season for me, my MIL remarried this year to a douche bag and wants to hunt all the time. But he doesn't want to help out with filling feeders or anything, so I seen this buck which and decided I wanted to pull the trigger on him.

I can relate. I bust my ass in the off season clearing brush, setting stands, etc, then put in food plots and haul corn to the feeders all season and run cameras...all by myself. I don’t mind doing it for my daughters, but then when my partner decides he’s going to sit in my best stands, it pisses me off. He got irritated this fall because he had limited time to hunt but my daughters and I “had the best spots,” so he didn’t tag out. Tough break, especially when he set one stand in October and went in with a climber 2 days before rifle season...and that is ALL he did to prep this year. Guess what? It takes more effort than that.

I'm the same way, my wife helps and her little brother every now and then. But this POS expects everything to be done, but I have very limited amount of spare time to take care of filling feeders and getting stands ready and take care of things at the house. I'm ready to tell him to piss off and find his own place to hunt.

Dang nice buck! Congrats!
I don't have anybody to help on my places. It's all me.
I can understand your frustration though.
It's called common courtesy to help set up hunting areas. Heck I help some folks and don't even hunt on their place.

Now my rut report. I've been out Thursday evening, this morning, and this evening. Never saw a doe but one this morning and when she came into the food plot, a dink buck immediately came out that I didn't' see in the woods and headed toward her. She bolted, ran in two circles around the plot and disappeared.
Looking at my cam pics, I've had does in the plots, and always with one or two bucks with them.
It's late, but still on in my area.
