Yep Marinate in Clauds brisket Marinade and add some heat from ground red pepper if you like heat and dehydrate it.

I took one of those $12 electric space heaters and set it to blow into my outside cooker BBQ and hung the strips in it and it worked better than the round disc dehydrators that you must rotate discs on.

This is to find out who you think makes the best produced beef jerky for retail sale. I must first admit that I am not much of a fan but I have come across the best I have had. It is made in Princeton, WV by JB'S Smoked Beef Jerky LLC.

Coal Miner's Jerky
Flavor = Honey Jalapeno

I really like Ralphs and Mikes as mentioned before.

But it depends on what your preferences are. I’ve been buying Ralphs for 15+ years. I used to ride to Perkins to pick it up. It is a bit dryer now than it used to be.

I stopped in at Jerky.com this week. (Near OKC Cabalas). They had an amazing selection organized by texture, flavor and type of meat.

The one on the left was pretty good and more of a traditional drier. Not quite as dry as the Ralphs or Mikes. The one on the right was much moister. Enough to leave a sticky residue on your fingers. It was also much hotter. REALLY good robust flavor. I’ll be getting more.

I'd try them both. I believe I've had Ralph's ...is it made in N.W. Oklahoma?

It is an old time butcher shop in Perkins OK. Near Stillwater. Beef actually comes in on the hoof.

They make a really good summer sausage also.

I’ve seen it at a few places before Walmart started carrying it years ago. Beef Jerky emporium. Wheelers meat market had it, but it had a private label on it. Winco has some of their products now. I don’t remember seeing it at Crest.

Has anyone tried G.O.A.T. Jerky? It's beef jerky, not goat, and it is sold in the same building complex as H&H Gun Range. It's not hard and dry. Pretty good jerky.
