What OYHP does for young men & women is very special. As a volunteer for Sportsman's Hunt Club for a few years on your youth hunt at our Jet Lodge, I can assure fellow volunteers memories to last a lifetime are made on every hunt. Thank you for all you do for the kids.

Those are kind words oksportsman. Your continued support is appreciated. Your organization has been a great partner in our mission to help our youth see the light that we see and to reach for it. We have reached and changed many, many young lives. We are continuing to grow statewide. The outpouring from OSA members is truly a blessing to our organization and a blessing to the children.

I've only been able to help out for a couple of years, it's been a great time.......... I know I enjoy it more than the kids and their parents do :) I bring along my dad's Remington Model 7 6mm for the hunter that I'm paired with to use. Dad would be tickled to know that a new hunter is getting to take their first deer with it.

Time is growing short and we need all landowners that wish to donate their land for this Fall's youth hunt contact Okie4570, OklahomaBassin, Sticky Stokes, myself or Okhunter and let us know of the availability of the land. We have still a need for volunteers and hunt guides to fill in various regions. Many of you have answered the call and we deeply appreciate your commitment. I am looking forward to working with a few new guides this Fall that have stepped forward. There is a new hunter ed class coming on Saturday July 24th. If you have children that are participating in our Fall hunt and need the class please contact me.

The hunts take place during the special youth hunt weekend in mid October. The hunts are on private property that are participating in our program. The ranch’s are located in all quadrants of the state.

There is a mentor meeting this Sunday from noon until 6:00pm in Mustang. Lunch is included. There is no cost to attend but we need a head count for the food. Please contact myself or Oklabassin for details.
