I recommend Pikesville Rye. Rittenhouse Rye is pretty good too. They are both Heaven Hill products and are very tasty. I mostly drink my whiskey neat so I haven't tried them in cocktails but I hear they do very well.

ETA: There are more expensive and more popular rye whiskies out there but these two are my favorites for the money.

Thanks!! The whole cocktail thing is new to me. Son made me an Old Fashion about a year ago and I have been checking out different ones ever since. Still like the neat and on the rocks but some of these cocktails are excellent. The sweeter ones I am not high on but something about the multi level slightly sweet, bitter, and spicey drinks really are pretty good.
