If it’s idiocracy, stupid, dumb, non professional, crazy, not in good taste, insulting to people, etc when open carrying a long arm then a law needs to be passed to stop this nonsense? Which is it? I wouldn’t open carry but i love my freedom and the state of Oklahoma has come a long way to bring it back. I remember in the 70’s and 80s I carried concealed when it was illegal to do so and was frowned upon by people who knew that I did but I still valued my God given right to do so. If a person is going to go off with a long arm in a public place, that person will probably let you know way before you know what’s going on. I think we have seen this happen more than once.

If our culture wasn’t so bad this wouldn’t even be news. In Israel this happens everywhere and no one blinks an eye. Sadly the one’s doing this here are only doing it for publicity but I don’t see a problem with it. If someone is going to shoot a place up they aren’t gonna walk in and act like they are a patron. They are gonna go in shooting. As with OC a pistol, if more people did it we might be able to sway the public’s opinion. But as it is it’s still looked at as being horrible. Even by some on here. I don’t do it a lot but I do it. Not because I want to act tough or bring attention to myself, but because sometimes it’s easier to just throw my Miami classic 2 rig on and go. I have a lot of stomach problems and sometimes ( right now) I can’t carry on my waste because I can’t tighten my belt because it hurts too bad. When its cold I can throw on a jacket and cover it up but when it’s warm I can’t. And sometimes I just feel like OC. I shouldn’t have to explain why I do it but it is what it is.
Totally agree! They are hurting the cause more then helping and I have to wonder, are they really that stupid or are they plants from the anti-gun left?
My gun shop loves it when I carry the rifle in openly. He knows he is getting ready to make a buck or two.
I wouldn't carry a rifle around in public unless the boogaloo was on. Or, the hootenanny, or the big igloo.
