Well this stupid sucker ran in and chased the deer off so he had to go. Good riddance. First kill with the new rig.

Northern Noble County is hot. Single bucks walking quickly with their noses down. Saw a small, medium, large and extra large and two culls Friday. Had a slam dunk shot on one at 56 yds this morning at 10:30 but it's head was behind a tree. I couldn't tell if it was a buck or doe. That is until it ran off. It was a wall hanger.

Huckleberry 75 had a good Saturday morning with several bucks chasing does at our farm. One was a wall hanger but out of range of his bow.
Saturday night was a weeeee bit different. Hog dogs were chasing some pigs on the neighboring property and they finally caught on. All h#$% broke loose then, pigs were sqealling, dogs were barking, then the chase was on again. The noise was getting louder, then the pigs hit the barb wire followed by the dogs hitting the wire. I guess there were pigs and dogs running all thru our swamp, spooking most of the deer. This morning just a doe and fawn showed up. All the rutting activity came to a complete stop. Sure screwed up their hunt.:cry11:
