Yep, mine was full of extra bricks as well. Came in handy after neighbor's daughter knocked it over with her pickup truck.

Did yours kinda explode like it was under pressure? My neighbor backed into his with his boat last week and it looked like was bombed from overhead. He was creeping too. It kinda had us both wondering

It's pretty common to find trash inside walls and other structures. A friend tore out an interior wall. I was amazed at how many scraps they used. It was a lot of tape and mud to cover it not to mention the 19 gallons of trash in there.

I think I have car parts in mine. Heard a knock on the door one day and a police officer was at my door. Behind him was a car that was on top of my brick mailbox, with all four tires off the ground. Turned out the lady that was driving was texting and driving.

Isn't it illegal to construct a gorilla-strong structure near a roadway? Might be a real problem if someone hits it and is injured.

Seems like we may have discussed this before...

Ours has a cubby area for a Christmas Tree (it's lit) and the other side is where the mail will drop into a locker if we switch it to "vacation mode." We didn't build it like that, though.

I think we did too but don’t remember the consensus of opinion.
Back in the day when we had an ATV race track in Ponca, someone kept running over our little sign that showed where the entrance was. We were going to put up 4” concrete filled pipe on the next sign, but after submitting plans to the city traffic engineer for a permit, he said we couldn’t do it.
So, don’t know if it was just that road or a municipal ordinance.
