Google story.....from 2009 and not sure of it's accuracy. http://www.topix.com/forum/city/elk-city-ok/TVS5IBUB4ADGRF6GQ

Just to let everyone know there will be a candlelight vigil in Sayre, OK. on Nov. 20, 2009 at 6PM-7PM for missing children.

The focus will be for the three teens who went missing 39 years ago and have never been heard from since.

**On the night of November 20, 1970, Jimmy Allen Williams, Thomas Michael Rios, and Leah Gail Johnson were riding around Sayre, Oklahoma in Jimmy's 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. When Jimmy left home for the evening he was supposed to be going to a football game in Elk City, Oklahoma. The possibility exists that he was going to go hunting on Turkey Creek Road with Thomas Micheal Rios and Leah Gail Johnson. All three kids never came home that night, and have not been located since. Also the 1969 Camaro has never been located either.**

If you have any information about this case please contact the local sheriff dept. or you can refer to Sayre topix - Sayre's Dark Secrets. There are emails where you can remain annonymous and tell your story.

Please set aside the time to attend this event for not only these three missing teens but for all the missing children throughout this area.

"BREAKING: Law enforcement officials say that the two vehicles just recovered from Foss Lake possibly match the description of two cold cases.
One vehicle, a blue Chevrolet Camaro, matches a vehicle associated with three missing Sayre teens in November of 1970.
The second vehicle appears to be a 1950s model Chevrolet. It is possibly associated with two men who went missing from Canute in the late 1950s or early 1960s. Custer County Sheriff Bruce Peoples is asking for anyone who recalls any information about that case to contact law enforcement authorities.
There appear to be human remains inside both vehicles, but no positive identification of the vehicles or remains have been made at this time.
A full story will be in Wednesday morning's issue of the Daily Elk Citian."

And to think that in the 50's and 1970, before social media, anyone farther than 100 miles away probably never even heard about the cases.
