Of course big spender Tom Cole voted for it. Mullen and Russell voted no. This bill sucks.

The House approved the $1.3 trillion budget to fund the government through the 2018 fiscal year, allowing federal services to stay open but hampers many of President Donald Trump’s agenda items.

The lower chamber approved the budget 256 – 167, but oddly enough, most of the dissenting votes came from Republicans, who hold the majority, and not Democrats.

Ninety Republican members of the House voted against the bill, compared to 77 dissenting Democrat votes. In total, 145 Republicans and 111 Democrats voted in favor of a bill.

House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell have sold the bill on an $80 billion increase in defense investment, but otherwise the legislation not advance many conservative or even Trump administration priorities.

The bill provides $1.5 billion for physical barriers, technology advancements and more agents for the southern border, but doesn’t provide funding for any new wall prototypes. The bill also limits how many Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents can be hired, continues funding for sanctuary cities and Planned Parenthood.

The Senate has a little more than a day to consider the bill before the government runs out of funds and shuts down at 12:01 a.m. Saturday.

I hope Trump vetoes it, but there is money in it for some of his campaign promises.
Shummer and Pelosi are doing backflips if this debacle passes.
Over 2000 pages that nobody had time to read or evaluate.
It's a damned message from the swamp to Trump that they can do as they want.
I'm so disappointed in the Republicans acting like democrats in this congress.
I'm sick and tired of the kick the can down the road and the DRAMA of government shutdown every 3 months, and I'm thinking the voters are getting tired of it as well.
More emails going out tonight.

They spend money like it belonged to someone else. I don't appreciate them spending my tax dollars on a lot of things. Illegals for one-unless it's ending them back.

It takes away the tights of about 4 million gun owners and gives money to a few anti-gun projects or groups.
