.17 hornet

I am not a big .17 guy but I might have to try this one out the 17 hornet looks like it will be the better 17 on the market.

I saw that cartridge on the back of the American Hunter - and thought to myself "oh great, another cartridge that is not as good as 223 - BOOOOOORING!"

If you need more horse power, you can always put a .17 caliber on the 357 Maximum case and run it a solid 4,000+ fps and give the 223 a run for it's money out to 300 yds. or even a bit further if one were so inclined to do so....
