Very dense rubber.
If you cut it into a 6" slice and shoot it with a .308 you can barely see the entrance hole almost like a self healing target.
Of course that chunk goes rolling across the ground and you continue to shoot it.
Use smaller thinner pieces for .22.
The hard part is figuring out a good way to cut it.
I used a chainsaw.
I tried many other methods but chain saw was best for me.
