I think the hawk that hangs around my one trap set and I must have a good understanding. He keeps sitting nearby eating my grinner carcasses and doesn't seem to be interested in the ducks/pigeons in my trap, so I quit running him off. He sits about 10ft away on this limb everyday and watches me.
Hell, if you were feeding me prime food everyday, I'd be waiting on you too. Your just like the POTUS!

His breast is the same color, no white or tan on this bird.
Okies hawk looks like a dark morph Redtail. Guess it is just a dark variety in genetics.
Spot on and good ID. It's a Harlan's morph Red-tailed Hawk. The lighter colored, or white, ones are Krider's morphs. He's definitely made a buddy. Cool pictures.
So what is a laymans version of what a "morph" is?
