.22 Dedicated AR15

OK guys so I'm thinking about building an AR15 in a .22 Cal. I have been told there are several good uppers in .22 cal. I'm just curious what kind of price am I looking at and which ones are better. Also which would be the most cost effective lower to use?

Are you just looking for an upper or a complete ar? The colt & s&w 22ar rifles are kinda cheap. If you already have a lower then MAS builds some nice dedicated uppers and you will get better quality parts for the same price as an upper from a manufacturer. Just my .02!

MAS?? Not familiar with them. Also I have a lower, just looking for an upper. The lower has never been used. I got it in a trade and to be honest I would have to look at it to tell you where it came from.
