A disturbance in Douglass High School broke out Wednesday morning before the Rev. Jesse Jackson arrived for a visit, police said.

Two 18-year-old girls were taken to the Oklahoma County jail on disorderly conduct complaints, police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.
Eight other girls were taken to a juvenile detention center on disorderly conduct complaints, Knight said.
No serious injuries were reported.
The altercation broke out before Jackson arrived for a 10 a.m. visit, said Oklahoma City School District spokeswoman Kathleen Kennedy.
Kennedy said the disturbance happened about 8:30 a.m. in a hallway.
“It was cleared out for Jesse Jackson,” she said.
Not only that, but the article implies that Jackson was coming because of the incident; that seems unlikely given that he was due to speak less than an hour after the story broke. Pretty quick response there.
