I have the heavy barrel in mine, but thought a 20” would be cool and a bit easier to store or put in a car. Barrett said they would change it for $1500, not quite worth that to me. I would lose velocity but not enough to notice.

Find a gunsmith and split the difference for a fraction of the price.

Cut the 30" down yourself.
Heck do it in 2" steps and see what velocity or group difference you get.
