6.5x50mm questions......

I know this is Jap. ammo but I just finished putting a Arisaka back together and want to see what it shoots like. I have been looking around and they seem to run about $25 per 20. My questions are:

1. Is there any local places to buy from? (Factory or reloads)
2. What brass could I use to make my own?
3. Any other suggestions or options?

P.S. checked Brigadoons and they seem to never carry it when I go.

If I were to try resizing another case, my choice would be the 243 win.

There is no need to form brass from another cartridge. It is readily available from Graf and Sons:
