700 Remington build help!

Check out Sako actions. Quality. I recommend Steve Baldwin in Jones. I have a 700 .308 that I converted to a JAE chassis. He fluted a 4R barrel for it, blue printed & accurised it, added a jewel trigger. I use a Nightforce 8x32x56 on Luepold extra highs with a OSS. He’s worked on or custom built several for me with 100% satisfaction. He also does work for OKC SWAT, and a multiple time world champion 1000 yard black powder shooter. He’s the man.

Steve will do you right. However, he gets busy sometimes. Best bet is to wait until the week before deer season and tell him you need it by opening day. He'll get right on it then.

I ended up building this. Only thing I don’t like is the magpul prs gen3 stock funds digs into hand if you wrap thumb around the grip.

There have been some pretty good deals on 308 Remington 700s with blueprinted actions and nice barrels in the classifieds lately....
