I have just been using plain jane old lead exposed 150-180gr sp Hornady Interlocks or 150/165gr Sierra pro hunters/gameking in about all my rifles for so long I can't remember. Neither have never let me down and never needed anything else.
A terribly good powder for the 7mag is Alliant MP4000. Stands for Magnum Powder. It was designed for the 7mag.

Thanks for the info fellas! I’ve had good luck and great grouping with factory Hornady ELD-X 162gr so far. Hole in hole accuracy at 100 and 200 yards. I have some 175gr Accubond LR to try as well. Just haven’t had/made time to try those yet.

While I have taken the rifle hunting, I wasn’t willing to pull the trigger on the animals I saw to date.

I would stay away from the hornady 154sst. Neck shot a nice buck last year no pass thru hand grenade sized hole for about 3 inches and that was it. 64.2 grains of reloader 22 moving around 2950 buck was 125 yards. Switched over to 145 sp from speer havent taken an animal with them yet but hear its a tough bullet.
