+1 on the Lapua brass. Have you ever tried the Saterlee method for finding a charge weight?

I actually saw some 87gr V-Max at Academy in Owasso last week and probably should have grabbed them. I was leaning heavily towards that bullet actually but the Nosler is a little tougher built bullet which I think might hold up better on deer if bone is struck but the V-Max is definitely an option

I did some testing of the 87 V-Max before I ever used it on a live deer.
I have shot a few deer with it since then and all were dead right there or only a couple jumps and then end.
