No need to leave for good, man. I've taken several months a couple times to get away from the gobshite, but the good outweighs the bad, for the most part, when you don't get too caught up and don't take things overly seriously... lots of keyboard commandos all over the place. Don't leave, Rick. You are a quality contributor and a great guy... those are the kind of people we need to stick around and keep improving this place.
No kidding, and why all of the drama and long farewells?
I SMH every time I see one of these, it seems more like a plea for everyone to beg you not to leave. If you want to leave, then do it, ride away into the sunset and don't look back, do it quietly.
Like most I've stepped away from many forums for a period of time, for various reasons, no need to make a big deal out if it.
With over 150 transactions(200+ member feedback posts) in only 15 months of membership it seems like you have profited nicely from your membership here Mr. Glock, you sure you want to give that up?
I try and stay out of political and general type threads, for one i care less which way it goes really.
I do like the informative threads where you can share knowledge and get some of that back.. so gun threads and ammo threads some hunting an' fishing stuff of course is where i spend my time and it is soothing sort of.
People sharing information and not much butt hurt.
I too leave forums for a time and come back.
I got called out at chevelles.com a few times where some people call BS on what my stuff is capable of.
Really can't help some of those people that can't find the combo or find the tune.
I did leave 1 smart ass comment ever after someone called for it.. I felt bad about it.
It was about high compression on pump gas..I told them leave it to the pro's. Do not fool with more than 9.5:1
In many threads i told people how i ran 12.2:1 with iron heads on pump gas in my 350 with small cam and 41 total timing.. called out many times.
It does get under your craw but it is really just a small can of worms.
I hope you just take a break and revisit when you feel like this and not totally leave.
