?? about a Colt M-4 Match Carbine Muzzle Break

So, I picked up a Colt M-4 Match Carbine over the weekend. I realize that I will have to replace the non-collapsing collapsing buttstock and I was wondering how feasible it is to swap out the match muzzle break and replace it with a conventional A-2 Birdcage. Does it just need to have the pins knocked out and unscrewed, or am I SOL? Any advice would be appreciated.

16" barrel? If so, it shouldn't be pinned, just give it a good twist.

Probably gonna need a new crush washer or peel washer to get it to time correctly, but that's not a big deal.

I have plans to change mine out as well...my new upper will have the A2 birdcage, and I'm wanting a YHM Phantom...those just look sick.

I like breaks; but only if Im shooting them. and not next to one.
