I too buy ammo for guns I don't have yet. No biggie. The great thing about America is you're free to spend the 12% of your paycheck the government doesn't ultimately take any way you like!

Yep....have ammo in the safe for the shotgun I haven't bought yet.

Yesterday academy had WWB 380 for 39.99 a box 100 rounds box

went to academy yesterday and saw lots of 50 round boxes of 22. i figure, what the heck, i'll buy 3 boxes. the girl tells me that its a 1 box limit on 22. 50 rounds at a time almost isn't worth it!

It's worth it if you're already there... but not a special trip unless you can pick up some other ammo while there... I have been stocking up on .223, 5.56 (counts as a different caliber at Academy) and 40 S&W. If I can pick up even 50 rounds of 22Lr, I'll drop one of the rifle boxes... it's all good.
