I don't think I know anyone in Tulsa or Stillwater that watches basketball.

You don't get out much then. Both the Academys in Tulsa were as busy or busier than Black Friday last week when they won the West Coast. Dunno if anyone is familiar with the one on 81st, but cars were parked all the way back to the Arvest.

I won't lie, I never used to watch the NBA except for the finals till the Thunder got here. Now I'm proud that Oklahoma actually has a pro team, and the kids on team are a step above a majority of the NBA.

Not surprised at the negative nancy comments you see in this thread.

Then you need to get off that radio and meet more people in both cities. I've lived and both and there are fans of college and pro ball alike.

Cricket is pretty fricken awesome to play...even if I couldn't understand half the guys I'd play with.

Yes they sure do!
I played for a while back home in Weatherford with some Indians and Zambians.
Here I played with some more Indians and a Zimbabwean. He had some interesting stories about Mugabe and the takeover of white lands in that country.
I actually enjoyed cricket more than baseball and I love baseball.
