I still have the same grey Croc-offs I bought out of Walmart back in 2007 for crossing streams when I was routinely backpacking trails. I still slip them on around the apt when I go out to check the mail or take the trash out, otherwise it's barefoot all the way

Have a pair, love them. I love that you can throw them in the washer too. But they’re pretty fragile. I’ve had mine for 9 months and they’re already worn out and developing holes.

I’ve been thinking of getting some crocs for around the house and on the boat. I don’t like wearing shoes on the boat if I’m fishing, so having something I can kick off easy and wear without socks would be nice. Would also be nice for yard work and stuff. I don’t like tearing up decent shoes doing that stuff.

As for sandals, I only own one pair and they are Keen's and are worn only in the Summer. Oh, and I wear them with socks.

Same here. Even in winter sometimes. Keen sandals are the best thing since sliced bread.

Well, I don't know about the "sliced bread" part, but I have the pair of Keen sandals, a pair of Keen hiking boots, and my other "walking," everyday shoes are Merrills.

Well, I don't know about the "sliced bread" part, but I have the pair of Keen sandals, a pair of Keen hiking boots, and my other "walking," everyday shoes are Merrills.

I just decided to try a pair of Keen Targhee shoes instead of buying my 3rd or 4th pair of Merrill Moabs. Then I grabbed the sandals. Keen has a large toe box like I like. It sounds like we have the same tastes in footwear. Lol...
