They should never have voted with so many imagined caveats in October of 2002 about a war that would be launched in March of 2003. The war they voted for and the war they got were two radically different wars. Still: What they did, essentially, was vote to trust the judgment of George W. Bush. None of those Democrats should be forgiven for that.
